At Tharagai Art Cafe, each Tanjore painting is carefully handcrafted with dedication and traditional techniques. We value customer satisfaction and follow a fair and transparent refund and returns process.
1. Eligibility for Returns
Due to the handmade and delicate nature of Tanjore paintings:
- Returns are accepted only if the product is received damaged or defective.
- Customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos or videos showing the damage.
- Products must be unused and in original packaging.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Custom or made-to-order paintings
- Products damaged due to improper handling or misuse
- Minor variations in color, texture, or design (natural in handmade art)
- Orders placed with incorrect size or design selection by the customer
3. Return Approval Process
- To request a return, contact us via email or phone within 48 hours of delivery.
- Our team will review the request and respond within 2–3 business days.
- If approved, return instructions will be shared.
4. Refund Policy
- Once the returned product is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the error occurred from our side.
5. Replacement Option
- In case of damage or defect, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund, subject to product availability.
- Replacement timelines may vary based on artwork availability.
6. Return Shipping
- Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the return is due to damage during transit or an error on our part.
- We recommend using a reliable courier with tracking.
7. Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch.
- Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled.
- Custom or made-to-order orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed.
